Notices for the month of July

In our All Age service on 6^th July, Hilary will be continuing our sermon series Heroes of Faith; this week is the fourth about Naomi and Ruth, from Ruth 3:1-5, 'All that you tell me I shall do'

In our service on 13^th July Peter G will be continuing our sermon series Heroes of Faith; this week is the fifth about Naomi and Ruth, from Ruth 3:6-18, Looking beyond appearances.

In our service on 20^th July, Shonaidh will be continuing our sermon series Heroes of Faith; this week is the sixth about Naomi and Ruth, from Ruth 4:1-21, The marriage of Ruth and Boaz- faithfulness and blessings aplenty! The service will include communion.

In our All Age service on 27^th July, Linda R will be leading us in a Songs of Praise service. If anyone would like to contribute with a favourite song or bible reading, please speak to Linda R.

New Deacon: At the Church Members' Meeting on 25^th June, Annette  was voted in as a Deacon for a three year term.

Deacon's Meeting: Please be in prayer for the Deacons Meeting on Tuesday 1sy July at 2.30pm.

Moderator: At the Church Members' Meeting on 25^th June, it was agreed to invite Rev Sarah Phillpot to act as our Moderator during our Pastoral Vacancy. Sarah is Minister at Homelands Free Church, Frinton.

Vision Evening: Wednesday 16^th July, time tbc, Sarah Phillpot will be leading us in a Vision Evening when we will be working towards creating a Profile for our Church. The Profile will be viewed by prospective Ministers and will give them an idea about what our Church is like. Please make every effort to attend so that as many as possible can contribute to our Vision for the future of OBCC.

Birthday in July: Linda P's birthday is on 13^th July, wishing you every blessing in the year ahead.
