Worship and prayer
Our Worship Co-ordinator, Berkeley Young, oversees the way we worship as a community, helping us to worship God in the best way we can. We try to incorporate a wide variety of styles, from age-old hymns to the most up-to-date songs. There is also a mix of up-beat songs, reflective spaces and creative prayer ideas.
Prayer, too, features highly in the life of our church, both in services and the rest of the week. We have a dedicated prayer team and there is always the opportunity for prayer during and after services. Prayer also features in our Home Groups, and resources are available to help you pray on your own too.
Worship does not just mean singing songs on Sundays. Prayer does not just mean reciting the same words week after week. We believe that worship and prayer are to do with our lifestyle, and that they should be natural expressions of our love for God rather than forced habits.
